YOUTH WELL-BEING REPORT IS RELEASED
Santa Monica’s first Youth Wellbeing Report Card will be released on Monday, October 22, at 4 pm at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
The report card is a baseline assessment of how Santa Monica youth are doing in four key domains: physical development, learning, mental health, and social skills. It was developed by Santa Monica’s Cradle to Career Working Group – a partnership of the City of Santa Monica, Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District, Santa Monica College, and community members.
SMMUSD Superintendent Sandy Lyons will make a priority preview presentation of the report card to the SMMUSD Board at its meeting on Thursday, October 18.
A media briefing on the report card will be given prior to the Monday launch.
To rsvp for the event, please email humanservices@smgov.net. The report card will be available online following the launch.
The event is free and open to the public. Childcare, parking validations and light refreshments will be available at the event.
