The purpose of this email is to inform you all that I will be boycotting the Airport Candidate forum this Saturday October 6. The reason is that the people have expressed a desire to attend the forum and they are not invited to attend. If the people are to be excluded that means I am also excluded. Loyalty to me is of paramount importance. It is like “you can come in but your friends have to stay outside” type of situation. We as candidates, and some of us future Council members, should start supporting the will of the people who we want to support us for City Council. Let’s pretend that we are already City Council members. Are we going to support the will of the people or we going to “do our thing”? As has been the situation with the current City Council. Expressing Loyalty and supporting the people’s wishes are what we should be doing. Or are we going to turn our backs on these people as current City Council members like Terry O’Day and Gleam Davis running for re-election have?
