The September meeting ofthe Committee for Racial Justice – 6 p.m. tonight, complimentary dinner, Church at Ocean Park, will be particularly informative.

Fluke Fluker and Joyce Germaine-Watts of Village Nation will give us an update on Village Nation and the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, answer questions and dispose of the misinformation about Village Nation that has spread in recent weeks. RSVPs are not necessary. Simply come yourself and pass the word to other parents in the Santa Monica Malibu District.

In addition, Geri Silva, Executive Director of Families to Amend California’s Three Strikes, will talk to us about the Amendment, which will appear on the November ballot.
