Westside Churches Working Together (WCWT) are United Methodist communities located on the west side of Los Angeles, dedicated to creating and building partnerships within our neighborhoods to address the concerns of housing, hunger, education, and parolee re-entry. They include: Church in Ocean Park, Community UMC (Pacific Palisades), Kardia UMC (West LA), Malibu UMC, Santa Monica 1st UMC, Wesley Foundation Serving UCLA, West Los Angeles UMC, and Westwood UMC.
For more information about WCWT visit our website at www.wcwt.org

For the Tutoring Project, WCWT will facilitate the search for and training of tutors from local colleges and hurches to provide the instruction. Computers, school supplies, and furniture are needed. Other opportunities include the development of a support group for the parents and providing snacks.

Our city isn’t an easy place in which to grow up, even in the best of circumstances. Help light a beacon of hope for the students.
