Some of you were able to attend the Crossroads training a couple of weeks ago. At a follow-up workshop, we decided to have a breakout group whose focus would be black/brown issues.

The group had its first meeting that night, and will meet again this morning, Saturday, June 23, at 10am at the Church in Ocean Park, 235 Hill Street.

This afternoon, from 2 to 3:30pm, there will be a Book Study/Action group. “The New Jim Crow” by Michelle Alexander.

Everyone who is interested in black/brown issues is invited to be a part of the breakout group. Anyone who would like to be involved, but can’t make it this morning should contact Janet Gollery McKeithen

The next Committee for Racial Justice workshop is scheduled for Sunday, July 8, 6 to 8:30pm.
