The 2012 political campaign season will get underway officially on Thursday, May 31, at the Palisades Beach Club when Mayor Pro Tem Gleam Davis and Shari Davis kick off their drives to win City Council seats.

The Mayor Pro Tem, a lawyer, is seeking a second term, while Shari Davis is running for her first term. She has been very active in Community for Excellent Public Schools (CEPS) since its founding a number of years ago.

According to the Davis duo, “This will be a no-charge reception, but we will be making a pitch for your votes, endorsements and dollars.”
