Initial concepts for the renovation of the Civic Auditorium will be presented at a special meeting of the Landmarks Commission on Monday, May 21 at 6:30 PM. The Santa Monica Conservancy, which supported funding the renovation of this important landmark,urges residents to attend the meeting.

Brenda Levin, the architect in charge of the renovation of the
the historic structure, is a leading American architect, renowned for her meticulous and artful restorations of some of Los Angeles’s most distinguished and cherished landmarks, as well as her contemporary works.

The meeting will take place in the Civic Auditorium East Wing Meeting Room, 1855 Main Street. Parking in the Civic Auditorium Parking Lot will be validated.
