MIRACLE PROJECT TO OPEN AT THE ODYSSEY SUNDAY
The Miracle Project, which features talented young people with special needs, follows its smash appearance at the Grove several months ago with two new plays at the Odyssey Theater in West L.A. this weekend.
“Friendship Quest” will open Sunday, April 29, at noon, and repeat Monday, April 30 at 6 p.m.
The play focuses on The Miracle News Network’s Game Show: “Friendship Quest,” and a group of colorful contestants who can’t seem to get the hang of friendship or understand what it’s about. And so they’re sent off to Friendship Boot Camp where they’re put to the test. Can they go from friendless to friend blessed?
“It’s a Mad, Mad World of Miracles,” premieres Sunday at 2 p.m. and repeats Wednesday, May 2, at 6 pm
This week on The Miracle News Network’s reality series, “It’s a Mad, Mad World of Miracles,” world-famous artist Colette’s new work titled “The Meaning of Life” goes missing during its unveiling at the Museum of Modern Art. Spurred on by the artist herself, a group of intrepid art lovers journeys around the world in search of “The Meaning of Life,” hoping to collect the reward.
The performers double as song writers and will present some of their own songs.
The Vista Inspire Program (VIP) includes social skills, religious education, sports/recreation, summer programs and events for children with autism and other special needs and their typically developing siblings and peers.
