Lisa See To Sign New Novel at the Broad
Lisa See was born in Paris, grew up in Topanga and Los Angeles, and writes novels set in China.
Her seventh novel, DREAMS OF JOY, was published last week, and a movie based on an earlier novel,
SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN, directed by Wayne Wang, will open July 15. See’s novels regularly appear on New York Times best-seller lists.
She will appear in Santa Monica on the Broad Stage patio on Saturday, June 4, at 4 p.m. for a talk and book signing. The Broad is located at 1310 11th Street.
On Wednesday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m., See will talk with Nina Revoyer at Writers Bloc, MGM Theater, 10250 Constellation Boulevard. Tickets are $20. For reservations, email reservations@writersblocpresents.com.
On June 3, Friday, she will venture into the Valley to sign books at Costco, 6100 Sepulveda, in Van Nuys, at 1 p.m. Only Costco members can attend.
On June 11 at 2 p.m., See will talk and sign books at Barnes & Noble at the Grove.
