The Santa Monica Conservancy will hold its annual meeting Saturday, January 23,  from 2 to 4 p.m. at Miles Playhouse

This program is free to members, and guests are welcome.

The historic playhouse, a Santa Monica Landmark, has been beautifully restored. It’s located at 1130 Lincoln Boulevard in  Christine Emerson Reed Park.

it was an important commission for   eminent local architect, John Byers. Its walls can talk, and will be translated by Dr. Ken Breisch, Director of USC’s historic preservation program, who will present an illustrated lecture.

The program will also feature the presentation of ten awards to people who have demonstrated outstanding initiative and commitment to historic preservation in Santa Monica.

A brief overview of the year’s highlights and Board elections will also take place.

Refreshments will be served.

Free parking at 808 Wilshire Blvd., 100 feet south of Wilshire on Lincoln (underground lot).
