Actor Josh Duhamel is teaming up with the American Red Cross of Santa Monica to host a “Youth Run for Haitian Earthquake Relief” fundraiser.

The run will take place on Santa Monica Beach on Saturday morning, January 23 — rain or shine.

Take part.  n. Runners will meet in beach parking lot #1 at the west end of  Ocean Park Boulevard at 9 a.m. to  register and pay a $10 entry fee – all k if of which will  go to Haitian relief.  Runners will wear something red to show their support for the relief fund. efforts.

The run will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Participants will run on the beach, north to the Santa Monica Pier where they will turn around and head back to the starting line.

Duhamel says, “There will be no prizes, no winner or losers — just the sheer joy of running and knowing that you’re also helping vital Red Cross earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.”
