CRAAP Co-Founders Disagree

Thank you for recognizing our poignant acronym for Concerned Residents Against Airport Pollution, even if it was not necessarily to your liking. Of course we prefer to use the full name of our group to educate people about us. It is interesting that most comments we hear regarding our acronym are positive, so I guess it’s a matter of taste. Although we, the group’s founders, find it uncomfortable sometimes to say CRAAP, we realize how apropos the acronym really is when one considers the sickening smell of jet exhaust which replaces our Pacific breezes. When asked why the two A’s, some have suggested, “Because there is so much of it”.
